How is Summer nearly over already? How quick has that gone? We’re almost ready for Autumn, that’s crazy, this year has totally flown by. So since Summer is nearly over I’ve put together a few of my favourites of the season.

The first thing i want to talk about is the supersoft mowhair throw. It is exactly that… supersoft. Thin and lightweight, perfect for this time of year where it’s starting to get a little cooler but it’s not cold enough for a thick blanket. Many nights i’ve found myself snuggled on the sofa with this binge watching series on Netflix and falling asleep. This was a total bargain from B and M in the sale for 6.99.

Another thing i’ve been doing while snuggled up on the sofa of an evening is tucking into a good book. After watching the series ‘Shadow Hunters’ on Netflix my cousin has kindly borrowed me the books, so i’ve been enjoying getting stuck into them. Whilst in Newcastle in July i decided i wanted to read all the Harry Potter books, so i bought a couple and ended up finishing the philosopher’s stone in just a few days. That took me right back to my childhood. I think i’ve rediscovered my love for reading.

Being someone who only really used a balm cleanser i was a bit dubious as to whether i would like the Liz Earle cleanse and polish. Well i can safely say that i LOVE it. and it’s so much cheaper than the balm cleansers that i’ve used. Definitely going to repurchase this when i run out.

The Nars Narsissist loaded palette and Stila eyes are the window into the soul palette have become my go to this Summer. Mainly during the weekdays you will find me wearing the Nars palette and playing it safe with the same two colours, which are Castille and Alnwick, which are actually quite Autumnal looking shadows. But when the weekend has come around i’ve been experimenting a little more with my Stila palette and i’m loving it.

This Summer i’ve been drawn to 3 lipsticks all of which are from Bourjois. Two of them i’ve already spoke about in a previous post, which are in the shades Rose Tweed and Pretty in Nude. The third being the liquid lipstick in the shade Don’t pink of it is a beautiful nude/pink colour that is perfect if you just want that little hint of pink to your lips.

Finally i’ve really been loving wearing gold hoops. I think these were just a cheap pair i got from George in Asda. They just give your outfit a little something something and kind of bring your look together.

What have you been loving this Summer?

xx
