White Chocolate and Peppermint Fudge

What’s Christmas without some good old baking. Throughout blogmas you will see a few different Christmas inspired treats.

This White chocolate and peppermint fudge is so quick and easy too make and would even make a really nice gift for someone.

  • 1x 397g condensed milk
  • 300g white chocolate chips
  • 25g unsalted butter
  • 100g sifted icing sugar
  • Cap full of peppermint extract
  • Candy canes

Line a baking tin with baking paper

In a bowl over a pan of water on the hob add the white chocolate chips, the condensed milk and butter. Melt on a low heat.

Once melted add your icing sugar and peppermint extract and stir well.

With a rolling pin bash up some candy canes. Pour the fudge mixture into the baking tray and sprinkle over the crushed candy canes, make sure you give the crushed mix a little press down too.

Put in the fridge and let set for 3-4 hours, cut the fudge into pieces (still leaving it in the baking tin) and pop back in the fridge for another few more hours.

If you wanted to make it into a gift for someone why not stack a few fudge pieces wrap in cellophane and finish with some red ribbon.
